5. Bristol Zoo Gardens
The city zoo offers you the chance to visit several endangered species and the insight into a wider understanding of the natural world. First opened in 1836 making it the worldâ€™s oldest provincial zoo, excitingly the zoo is also well known for breeding firsts such as the Black Rhino, Squirrel Monkey and even the first chimpanzee. If you are interested in wildlife and seeing rare species of animals then Bristol Zoo Gardens are a must see.
4. Bristol Museum & Art Gallery
Three floors of culture, ancient civilisations, human invention and creativity all packed within the one museum. There are several world class pieces of art with some of the worldâ€™s most famous artists such as Bellini, Renior and Bomberg as well as several more. 3. Visit The Clifton Bridge
It may not sound like a must do sort of thing but Clifton Bridge is a beautiful spectacle, designed back in 1864 by a great Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel the bridge now offers a spectacular setting on the cliffs of the Avon Gorge. Sadly the designer behind the project never got to see it completed due to financial difficulties the project was stalled in which time he passed away, in his memorial the bridge was finished.

Traditional glass making takes a real talent, when the skill was on the verge of being lost forever James Adlington creator of the factory back in 1988 took the time to learn all of the traditional English glass making techniques and put them into practice, now you can find some of the worldâ€™s finest glass designs right here in Bristol.
